Sales Executive


Susino UK Ltd is a modern, successful umbrella brand and manufacturer, established in the UK in 2007. We design and manufacture a wide range of umbrellas and are developing our two brands; Susino and X-Brella. Our business is built around providing our customers with a great quality umbrellas at a competitive price in a range of fashionable designs.

We work with a wide selection of customers, from UK High street chains, Supermarkets and wholesalers to small boutiques, tourist attractions and independent retailers.  We are regarded by our customers as one of the best umbrella suppliers in the UK and we pride ourselves on the quality and reputation of our product. As our business is growing rapidly, we are seeking a new sales executive to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

 Sales Executive Job Role - On a day to day basis, this role will carry the following responsibilities:

  • To play an active part in our sales team and assist in the growth of the business by contributing to the sales strategy of the business;
  • Taking responsibility for achieving personal and team sales targets;
  • Driving profit performance in line with and exceeding business targets;
  • Account management - nurturing and growing existing accounts;
  • Actively seeking new business and using strong sales skills to secure and manage new accounts of all varieties; This will involve discussing customer requirements, producing sales proposals, following up on proposals and "closing the sale";
  • To attend all Trade Fairs throughout the year;
  • Share responsibility of office management;
  • Research new product areas and work as part of the team in the selection of new designs for the UK market;
  • Be prepared to travel to meet with current and potential customers throughout the UK;


  • Should have had at least 2 years experience as a business-to-business Sales Executive, preferably with a proven record of consistent on-target sales figures;
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office, email and web browsing essential; SAGE accounts experience would be an advantage but not necessary;
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills are essential to this role;
  • The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate accuracy in their work with excellent attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, clear thinking and a positive outlook;
  • Excellent customer service skills and demonstrable experience;
  • Articulate telephone manner; ability to adapt to different customers with confidence and develop solid, long-term relationships;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work very well as part of a team, as well as independently when needed;
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work under pressure to deliver performance targets;
  • Able to suggest new ideas and be creative in their approach to work;
  • UK Driving Licence essential;

Job Specification:

  • Salary c. £20k- £25k (Based on experience and performance);
  • Uncapped commission on sales;
  • Office based - travel allowance for business meetings,
  • Full training will be provided;
  • 20 day annual leave;
